Petitboot is a GUI for KBoot. It is MUCH nicer to use than KBoot by itself, however it is inherantly less stable. For instance, Petitboot sees all the options to install, but upon selection will immediatly lock up. Only for Ubuntu 7.10 however. Fedora Core 8 and 9 work fine as does the GameOS boot from here.
